Maui's Exceptional Tree Care Business
ClimbingHI has continued to thrive throughout 2020 due to new creative marketing strategies, reinvesting to update their tree care equipment and the vast network of clients that Cody has served over the past decade working on Maui and Lanai. ClimbingHI works with the County of Maui arborist and other public officials to ensure parks, streets, and homes are safe. They also work with Pulama Lanai, other infrastructure departments and partner with Skyline Conservation Initiative to help remove large areas of dying invasive eucalyptus and replant Native Hawaiian trees. Not only does Cody work to make his customers happy, he also prioritizes ClimbingHI's employees, recently creating a spa day for the tree crew. In addition to their work restoring native Hawaiian forests, ClimbingHI donates 1% of its gross sales to planting trees globally through the Eden Reforestation Project. In 2020, they have contributed to over 100,000 trees being planted worldwide. ClimbingHI has also funded and paid for a school in India called ClimbingHI Academic Institute.
Cody Clark was honored during a virtual event held on Tuesday, November 24th. In this virtual ceremony Cody and ClimbingHI received several certificates of achievement and the award for Maui's Exceptional Small Business of the Year. Mahalo nui loa to the ClimbingHI Team, the Maui Chamber of Commerce, Mayor Mike Victorino, and the County of Maui Office of Economic Development.
